Brazil’s national airlines are TAM, Varig and VASP, with each company offering flights from many locations through the world. BA offer flights from London to Rio starting at around £1100 for one way tickets. Other operators offering flights to the country include Aerolineas Argentinas, Air France, Alitalia, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Iberia, Japan Airlines, KLM, LAN-Chile, Lufthansa, Pluna, South African Airways, SAS, SWISS, TAP Air Portugal and United Airlines. Flights from London to Rio De Janeiro take approximately 11 hours, from New York to Rio around 10 hours. Brazil’s airports at Brasilia, Sao Paolo and Rio offer bus services and taxis into the city. Also offered are banks, bureau de change, car hire, bars, medical facilities, left luggage and restaurants, along with many other services.
